Behind Anchored: Why I Wrote This Book.

If you had told me a few years ago that I'd one day publish a book called Anchored, I would have laughed and changed the subject. Not because I didn't love writing, but because fear and delay had been my silent companions for too long.

This book was born out of my own wrestle with excuses. Fear, comparison, weakness, disobedience, you name it, I have faced it all. For years, I carried drafts, half-written notes, and ideas that never left my desk. Some days, the doubts shouted louder than my dreams. Other days, life's busyness made it easier to say, "I will do it tomorrow."

Yet, God has a way of steadying us when we think we are about to sink. That is what Anchored really is. My personal journey of learning to stay grounded in faith, even when the waves of life came hard. It is not just theory; it is pieces of my story stitched with scripture and hope.

I wrote this book for the person who has even felt stuck between wanting to start and actually starting. For the one who whispers, "Maybe I am too late". For those who have gifts and dreams but feel too small, too weak, or too unseen. I have been there. I know that space, and I know God meets us right there, not when we are perfect, but when we are honest.

Writing Anchored was healing for me. Publishing it was terrifying (my heart still races thinking about it!). If one person reads it and feels less alone, if one person feels stirred to take that first step of faith, then it was worth every sleepless night and every tear.

So, here it is. My offering. My story. My anchor in the storm.

You can find Anchored https://www.amazon.com/author/margaret-usio on Amazon.

If you do read it, I'd love to hear what resonated with you. Leave a review, share a thought, or even drop me a quiet message.

Thank you for being here at the beginning of this journey. I am both nervous and excited, but mostly, I am grateful.💕

With love and faith,

Margaret (Kaego).
